Scorpion Lock

Postby cdwag » 28 Mar 2008 11:40

I came across a scorpion lock in my drawer that I didn't notice for YEARS and I don't have a camera to take a picture with BUT the lock looks EXACTLY like this one:

How would I go about opening this lock?

****NOTE: THIS IS A LOCK THAT I OWN AND IS NOT ON A DOOR****[/img]

Did you really expect that to work? Do not repost the same topic after a thread is locked.

No problem. Just take a picture of the desk with the lock on it and post it up along with a picture of yourself holding a note that says "Hi, LP101!" Otherwise we'll probably just assume it's the Scorpion lock on the door your landlord didn't give you a key to and that you're trying to get around the thread locking that earned you.

Well since it's not in use and you own it, why not shim it open from the back and start db's picking exercise located in the pick-fu section.

Start with just one pin and work your way up. You will be picking it in no time.

Not really that common to see a mortise lock on a drawer....hmmm
