I don't think you will find them in most stores, people will got for the cheaper ones nearly every time. Try your local locksmith, alot of times they have the better quality padlocks in stock, or can order them. Another place to try is U-Haul, I have seen Abus locks for sale there to secure trucks.

I don't have any U-Haul facilities near me,but I do have a Self-Storage facility only a few blocks from my house, you think they might have Abus's there?

Not likely, but worth a shot. I'll search around and see if I can find some websites for you.

I dont know where in FL you live, but when i lived there, there were flea markets EVERYWHERE. I say to look at flea markets for just about anything...so here goes, check at your local flea market  if nothing else you WILL find SOMETHING you want to buy, so its not a wasted trip.

Call around to everywhere else i.e. storage, locksmith etc. before you drive out there, they will(should  )tell you over the phone if they have anything.

Ive never heard of them selling pick-sets though, maby through the military surplus guy or something like that...or if someone just happens to have one...most people still think picks are illegal

You can also try www.locksmithtoolandsupply.com. They carry bunch of American padlocks and some Abus Diskus/Buffo locks. The shipping is kinda slow but I've ordered from them tons of times in the past and they're pretty reliable from my experience.
