I made a little Cutaway padlock as a key chain. I might put it up for sale or trade someday.

You might want to clean up the cuts that go through the laminated body of the lock.

it looks quite good but id take it apart again and try filing the cut ends to a radius towards the cylinder just to make it look pretty :wink:
if everyone who tried something new liked it but didnt bother telling anyone else there would never be anything new to try...

No no, leave it the way it is! It looks trippy, as if something trapped in the lock came bursting out like a chestbuster from Aliens. Looks real nice. 8)
If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture

I don't know. Those edges look sharp. Keys usually go in your pocket. There are things hanging out in the pocket vicinity I have spent my life protecting from sharp objects. :shock:

That is freaking great man top job! :)

I would give it 5/5 just becuase think off all those people who ask any qeustion pertaining to the hobby.

Well Sir that piece can answere quite alot, and the naysayers well.. can't argue if it's infront of there face.

Sorry for the rant, but what a freakin creative and appealing creation I like it! :D

So i cant tell from the pic too well but, were the retaining pins ground off?
The ones that go all the way through the lock....Looks good BTW :lol:

Yea, actually the first time I took a picture of it I had to turn my keys around be cause it had the coding stamped on them visable. Thanks for the feed back, the edges are smoothed out with a dremel but they still look kinda sharp
