Hello everyone, I joined a little while back but I had to take some time off from this hobby before i really got started because of my hectic work and school schedule. I am getting back into it now and am thankful for all the information here.

Thanks,

Just so you know, I had asked to pick every lock that wasn't mine, I didn't do it behind anyones back. I understand that there are cutaways for practice, but I like to practice with the real thing. I almost purchased a cutaway in the beginning, but I ended up understanding, so there was no need for it.

When I did the front door locks, was when it was time to clean the large family room rug we have. We normally clean it in the backyard, only that day was BBQ day so we had to hang it up in front. It completely covered the front door, and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity :D

Do yourself a favor, and take a permanent step out of your very narrow mind, you will understand a lot more. Just because YOU think it' OK, doesn't mean it is.
I enjoy lockpicking, and I will decide for myself which locks to pick. Yes, I understand there are consequences, but there are both good and bad consequences.

Hi, I've always been curious about picking locks, and I'm finally looking around for resources and found this site. I'll get some tools soon & start practicing. I figure, I've locked myself out of the house or the car just enough times, or had friends do it, that it couldn't hurt to learn how to pick locks & just remember to keep my picks on me :)

Currently I'm deployed to Iraq. I am going to Hocking Hills in southern Ohio to be a Park Ranger. I have an interest in locks and lock manipulation. I have a Large collection of keys. were talking 2-3 thousand and i am always getting new ones. So I'm not sure what else you all would like to know but message me if you think of anything.

Bumber, I owe you an apology. I was unaware not to mention locks that are in use, and now I understand that you were hinting me to to prevent any flaming.

And BTW, those padlocks were in use.

Just kidding, they were sitting in my room collecting dust :D

So, I have picked 19 locks to date, and I'll leave it at that.

the site is generally welcoming to new people, however if you have any sketchy ideas, you are in the wrong forum to bring them. there is nothing that the forum likes less than some junior crook thinking we're his posse.

So stay straight and ask the right questions, until everyone knows you and your accepted as a person who's not bringing trouble for others.
