I've seen these locks somewhere before, but I don't remember where. A friend of mine bought an building from the hospital around me, and they have a bunch of these in them. I'm curious, are they radio-controlled, or something like infrared? Possibly even laser? I know that they have a device that the person carries around, at least I believe it's the same lock that I saw before, but anyway, if anyone can identify this lock it'd be great. He would like to know if they can still be used, (re-digitally-keyed) or if we'll need to put on new locks. Any info is appreciated.
See ya later

He bought a building from the hospital and while walking around checking out the building he didn't think of asking for all they keys and any other proximity badges or related technology?
We'll see what we can find out, but your friend should really call the hospital's management and ask about these locks and the keys for them. or call the commercial realty company that took care of the transaction.

It was a hospital-owned building, which was leased to a third party. They went bankrupt, and the hospital sold the building to cover rent losses. They say they have no keys, not even front door keys, that was the first thing we replaced. But thanks for your concern.

look at the locks for some kind of printed logo, the manufacturer, the made in china sticker, any clues that may apply. the name may be on one of the keys, there may be a key in the building somewhere, its been known to happen. In any case, check with the local locksmiths, someone has to have installed them,
then do some close up photos. We cant really recognize this, without clearer info, (I don't even have a guess)
Wake up and smell the Kafka!!!
