Vrocipes, from the other thread you posted in (in this same section), it seems you were speaking of this same lock.
Just by reading you are a beginner and not really knowing how much knowledge you actually have on locks with/without security pins, I might suggest that you start on something without security pins. Perhaps a Kwikset deadbolt in which you can repin in random configurations to increase your skills in tension, tolerances and binding order.
Afterwards, move on to a Schlage deadbolt or knobset (which can also be repinned), but has security pins and tighter tolerances than a Kwikset to even further your skill in locks with security pins. Sometimes it's best to take a step back to make several steps forward.
You may be familiar with locks without s/pins but as I mentioned before, I/we don't know what you know or have tried to get started in this hobby. So, feel free to fill us in if need be, it just may help us help you in the long run.
