What does "Boxed" mean?

Ok, so I've seen several locks advertised as "boxed". To me, they appear externally identical to non-"boxed" locks. What does "Boxed" mean?

Yep, reckon you may be looking for something where there's nothing.

you get boxed or visi packed. Visi for your shop to hang up, but are a pain to open on the job so boxed is much easyer. thats it, same lock etc.

so it would be the same as getting it in trade pack (in a box for the road techs) and display which is in the plasic so it can be displayed in a shop

Buying locks boxed as opposed to Visipack is usually slightly cheaper.

i suppose on the face of it someone had to ask just never thought someone would..next comes pb and np which one is higher security?
