When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Hey Guys,
I was wondering whether anyone had any ideas on which is the very best pick case/pick storage method?
At the moment I use a cordura drill bit case from my local hardware store, but I was thinking of upgrading to the Peterson Masters Second Edition Tri-fold Pick Case: $34.00 (The one with the cow hide exterior and the lamb skin interior). Seems like a fair acompaniment to the awesome LN21 tools I've been buying!
So any other suggestions please.
Cheers
Paul

exactly the pick case I have and I love it. if your going to pack it out with tools and keep it in your pocket its a bit chunky though.
Peterson will also hit you with a $20 postage charge for that so its worth ordering some spare picks while your ordering even if you dont really need them right now.

If you have the picks from LN, prehaps get petersons tension wrenches, I've heard good things about them. That postage is steep.

nice sewing skill man, some of us cannot sew zippers and make uniform folding pockets so i have to go with the peterson masters ver. 2.0 case. But that is a sweet idea, especially if you use like a pair of JNCO jeans with the logo showing on the outside, that would be really cool

dmux, I thought the military trained it's machines to sew. I know I've seen olive drab sewing kits at the surplus store.

Peterson cases are real nice and I wouldn't want to use any other but after a while some of the stitching will come apart. The velcro part of my tri-fold case is starting to get loose and I'll probably try to sew it up and mend it a little bit soon. But this is from using the case for work, as a hobbyist I doubt you'll run into problems like this too often.

I managed to put a small rip in mine the first week I had it. then the "made in india" bit fell off. trying to cover its tracks...

AA Size Maglite Case
I have a few cases, currently unused atm, but this is *hopefully* what LN21's picks will reside in. (dimensions willing)
Exterior - 168mm x 54mm x 30mm
Interior - 160mm x 40mm x 25mm
Other than that, the metal cases that the special ball-point pens/led lights are packaged in ( shown here) are pretty good. I currently have my Work tools in a Leitz CD vault, with the CD pockets removed. (Shown here: Pic1 : Pic2 : Pic3)
