NDE DEFINITION

How would you describe a non distructive entry? I know this will sound silly but is it when drilling is done and sealed completely or is when a lock is distroyed and replaced with another new lock?

the reason i ask is today I did a 7 lever Loudon\Union safe lock and drilled a 4mm hole, picked it open, replaced the lock and sealled the hole completly. Oh, my first safe I opened The old lock is still intact and working order and I'll use to for practing.

if damage and repair/replacement of any parts are part of the process in any way then it is destructive entry.

doesn't always mean unprofessional or unskilled, just not NDE.

If you can repair the damage and not compromise the security and integrity of the lock, safe, door then it's a professional job. A lot of safe jobs are done by drilling anyways.
