The not-so-offical HOPE thread!!!!!!!

Hey everyone,

Well, I just got confirmation that my request has been approved. I am authorized to take leave (vacation) in order to attend HOPE (Hackers on Planet Earth). Who all is attending?

I went to DefCon last year and had a blast. I trust HOPE will bring a similar experience. If possible, I also hope to give a presentation on a certain not-so-public project that's been my obsession for the last 6 months :-)

Hmm... depends, this would be allot closer for me to attend, and I've heard rumor DB is going to this one..

but on the other hand, if I goto DEFCON, I get to meet a woman I've been conversing with for a few years now...

I think the powers that be will make this a sticky pretty darn soon. *waves wand*

Just an update:

I WILL be attending HOPE. I have my paperwork approved, bought plane tickets, bought HOPE ticket, and reserved hotel (the Penn naturally).

Myself and Doug Farre were planning to give a talk about my Medeco tool among other things. HOPE denied the talk saying "We are already a lockpicking talk scheduled". This talk is Barry Wels' and Marc Tobias'. I will do my best to find a way on stage. If that cannot be done, I will be giving the talk as a breakout session in the lockpicking village.

Looking forward to it guys! :-D

Okay so this was a bit ambitious...I can't make it to HOPE, can't take the days off of work

But i'm still going to Defcon, and definitely the next HOPE if it survives to see another day.
