Just to make this clear, I know NOTHING about this lock...
To check for security pins, keep going until you're stuck (make sure you're not too heavy on the tension) and the last pin you set, if no other ones will bind, push it up. You should feel (if there is a security pin) a reversing effect on the tension wrench (as you push up the pin, your tension wrench wants to move back a little) just let the wrench move back, but don't release tension (just keep it light) and just take it nice and slow. After that, just keep going I suppose. If you set every pin and suspect one may be a false set on a security pin, as the plug will not turn, try pushing each pin to check for the reversing effect.
Failing that, of course I sometimes (not usually) have a wierd problem where I pick a lock just fine but the plug doesn't turn... turn your pick upside down and give it a bit of a blind jiggle using the underside of the pick.
Good luck
