REVISED PICTURES OF MY BUSINESS

This is the old Locksmith business info area and will be broken down to fill in the new sections below.

REVISED PICTURES OF MY BUSINESS

Postby prag » 10 May 2008 9:56

I am extreemly sorry for the big mistake I made with the sizing of the pic in the post about my business. We live and learn.

I have resized the photos, so enjoy and please show some of your business pics or any form of comments are welcomed.

The outside main signage. This was done in January of this year.

One of two signs depicting the services we provide. We also do programming of remotes for garage doors and gates.

Some of the products sold which includes Abus,Viro, Cisa, Union etc. This is growing as we learn the ever changing market and as we can afford more products.

These are some of car, latch, padlock blanks and ready cut keys. After 10 years we are still expanding the range regularily.

This is the mortise range which we just started in December 2007. This is when I bought the mortice machine. The mortice range still needs to be expanded.

These are the two cutting machines we have. The one on the left is the latch/car cutting machine. It's about 10 years old now and still works nicely. Funny thing is when my locksmith friends see this machine they laugh and say it's like a toy but it does the trick.
The one on the right is the mortice cutter. Got this in December so it's my latest toy. Still getting the hang of it. Both machines are Silca machines.

This is my locksmithing side of my business. I still need to do a whole lot to my business and inject even more of money.

Thanx for viewing and if you have any suggestions, please feel free to comment.

I am curios to see some of your business pictures.

Sorry for the mix up with the pictures in my previous post.Chow.

Good for you Prag. nice start your business will grow as you do more work.
Just keep in mind that a lot of business comes through satisified customers.
Absolutely no business comes from unhappy ones.

Good luck!!!

Cool! I especially like the duality of your business. Any particular reason for choosing the locksmithing/shoe repair combination?

He says the business is ten years old, not just beginning.

Those are some seriously slick signs! No one puts that kind of effort into display around here...

And 7k post in this forum. Snipe. 8)

Well, I'm 3rd generation shoe repairer in South Africa. Here in S.A theres allot of shoe repairing businesses with key cutting or locksmithing services provided. So it was a natural progression in expansion. Don't want to put all the eggs in one basket.

My shoe repairing and key cutting business is 10 years old but we only started our locksmithing section about 6-8 months ago.
Thanx for the compliment about my signage. Cost allot but the compliments and business I got from it is slowly paying off. Creates a bit of a professional image( I think) Really, thanx for the compliment. :P

Just on another note, where are your photo's of your businesses. I am really curious to see, learn and compare other locksmithing bussiness with ours in S.A.
