Tubular Pick help for a N00b

Postby safecracker » 13 Jul 2003 19:25

Ok as I'm trying to get an understanding of tubular locks something confused me, at http://www.lockpicks.com/ there is the TLP-LRB that is designed for 8 Pin Split Center and 7-Pin Left and Right Offset then there is the TLP-CMOD-B designed for 7-Pin if you buy both it is $20 cheaper my question is why would you need both couldnt you just buy the TLP-LRB ?

I suggest to get the 7pin one because most locks are 7 pin. The 8 pin locks are I'm guessing for more security. You might want another opinion on your question because I'm still a newbie.
