
I can now pick "Bird" cylinders (Pickers in the UK will no doubt be very familiar with these cylinders) they're found on the cheapest nightlatches.
I can also pick the cheap (normally laminated) padlocks you buy from B & Q and the like.
My local locksmiths gave me this cylinder to play with next........

My query comes in two parts really.
Does this lock probably contain security pins of some sort? I'm struggling with this a bit the same way as I did with my original lock ( A master 160).
Secondly when a manufacturer is making locks, do they tend to put the security pins in the same holes or do they differ? If they don't differ, which pins should I be looking out for?

Incidentally the little vice the lock is in could be my best lockpicking purchase so far. Got it off Ebay!
