I envy a collection that big.
I would really like to get some auto locks to practice on, but I dont have any junk-yards near me.

I was just organizing some locks and took a couple pictures of my current collection.

112 lock cylinders on the shelf
48 padlocks on the pegboard

I hope to have some more close up photos of the shelf and pegboard in the next day or so.

Enjoy!

Wow Squelchtone. Wow.

I don't know what's more attention-getting, the collection, or the frightening tidiness of it all.

Add a mini-fridge and microwave and I'll move in under the bench. I'm a big guy but I can curl up tight enough to fit.

How cheap exactly?
I'm on a bit of a tight budget, but I might be able to save a bit. :)

I just wanted to say something about that plexiglass cylinder with the lock mounted in it.

I ordered one, and it arrived today, all in good condition and whatnot.
It was pinned with an easy combination, and was a little stiff (a bit of oil helped greatly).

Then came re-pinning it.
The retainer took a bit of effort to pull off, which distracted me from the fact that a spring went flying across the room :P

It came with more springs, so no drama.

All in all not a bad lock, however the plexiglass stand could have been higher, when I'm using tension the wrench almost touches the ground.
So mount it on the edge of something.

The pins aren't bad, a wide range of possibilities, however they were quite rough-looking and were dirty to the touch.

Not a bad lock for beginners, or even more experienced who want to improve a bit, but I feel the quality could have been better.

Not worth the $70 in my opinion, but if shipping to the US bought it down to the $40-$50ish region, then I'd get it again.

6/10
