my picks go doom! they're my first, they suck, but they've gone though everything from 4pin master to a 6pin kwikset deadbolt with spools and picked em all!

good shapes but you may want to hit them with some sand paper to make them shiny.

i did that shortly after i took the pics, the blade was used quite well so all the paint was nearly wore off anyway =)

I spend almost as much time making them as I do picking locks now.

so far i've only made these two o.o; they work alright for the locks i piddle with.

was just about to mention the sandpaper thing... smooth picks pick up feedback better to me... and makes them look prettier LOL

well, anyway, looks pretty good... especially for a first try... try developing a handle that is shaped to fit our hand, or a range of different hooks next... maybe a half diamond? Keep making them... it's a good hobby to be sure ^^,

did you just use a bench grinder?

dremel, with a grinding stone >>; the long curve was a half diamond, but i didn't like how it felt in the locks, so i cut the tip of, heated it on a candle flame n bent it to what it is now =3

i spend alot of time making picks too, although i STILL havent got down how to use them
