Its hard to believe what some people just throw away! I'm going back to check out what they have now! hopefully they have some new stuff.

More swag from the restore.
Ford lock
Unknown & Ford
These cost me $1.27, and the unknown cylinder came in an excellent brushed steel knob with all the hardware. I hate to ask this newb question, but I have seen the keyway before and I just can't place it. It isn't marked anywhere, if someone recognizes it let me know.

I thought the warding on the keyway was neat, and was hoping for some security pins, but it was just a 6 pin master keyed lock. My first guess was Yale, but I figured I would pester the forums rather than take a min to check for myself. :) Thanks for the help.

I finally got around to one of the local re-use stores and I walked away with two Schlage deadbolts and a Best SFIC core for $1/ea. That'll give me plenty of work for the next couple weeks.

I went to the ReStore in Mesa, AZ, which is pretty good size.
They had an entire aisle of locks of all stripes.............

....... ALL of them priced about 50 cents lower than what you'd find at Home Depot or Lowe's :( Total bust...........

You may be onto something there. ACE is usually really good about carrying a good selection of items for a fair price... surprising considering they're fairly 'old school' in the face of these new home supermarkets like HD and Lowes. I also need to stop in Harbor Freight and see if they have anything interesting.

I think I'll check out ACE tomorrow.... their stock is fairly standardized, I'll report back if I find anything noteworthy. I'm still a bit horked about the ridiculous prices at the ReStore. I want my $10 Abloy! But seriously, it wasn't even competitive, let alone inexpensive...

Well, kinda hard to tell, since the box isn't pictured, but I'm pretty sure that's my name on the box :)
