Also, theres a lot of talk about using mats to control bouncing pins, etc, well, jewelers have these tiny yet expensive little rocks, that can easily hide on the floor.

Yeah, crawling around on the floor looking for a dropped stone is nothing new to me.

My newest stuff, haven't made anything for awhile it feels great to be by the bench grinder .

this is a new pick i made from a timber milling band saw, its not 100% yet,i made the end more ergonomic it tuck into your hand nice

truthfully i made this a while back, but now its 100% and its got a mirror finish and i sprayed some clear-coat on it to protect it from scratches

thanks guys. its quite hard to make a pocket pickset you've gotta take a lot of stuff into consideration e.g how many picks, what materials etc. and how to keep the picks from moving when being used and just in your pocket.

i'm open to any suggestions on the "keeping the picks locked in place" methods

I agree that there is a lot to take into consideration, however it is not a difficult to achieve. If your wanting to make a small pocket pickset and you have some ideas rolling around but havent come up with a final decision PM me and we should be able to come up with something.

Made from 0.025" high carbon steel feeler gauge stock and aluminum.

Yes they are anodized aluminum.
I sell them if people want them, but most people think they are too expensive. The price is cause of the amount of time they take to make. I can't make them any faster, and I don't like working for free. Next I am going to make myself a set, cause right now I only have 2 , and one of them isnt finished. The others I have either given as gifts or sold.

how thick are the handles

A little over 1/4". Two 1/8" handle pieces plus 0.025" feeler gauge stock, minus what ever is lost during sanding.

I like tools with some weight to them.
