How I anodize aluminum

I think some of us would be interested in acquiring a set or two of yours.
How much are you looking for for a basic 4-pick set (that is, if you are selling)? They look like excellent quality picks as well as handles.

the anodizing on those maglite flashlights always rubs off.
Those picks are beauties, but aluminum can be very cold to hold in winter.
As much as I think ratyoke is a real artist in making picks, I think I would if I were making pix for use in the cold north, consider some of the plastic or wood handle types, because of the cold.
Not to disparage his work in the least, its just my preference. If I had a set of his, I would put them in a frame and wall hang them.

I have a set of Ratyokes picks.....and trust me, they'll never pass the threshold of my door! They'll stay warm and snug deep inside my fortress of solitude...

I have been wanting to try anodizing for a while and seeing how amazing you r picks look I'm even more motivated than ever to do so. Are you just using a grinder or dremel to shape the aluminum scales of the handle or do you use something slightly more inaccessible to most, like a mini-CNC lathe?

CNC mill would be the tool, but no, I don't have one. Some day though.

I have a question... A drain opener is usualy sodium hydroxide?? right?

well. how do you get sulfuric acid drin opener??(maybe it's because they sell it where you are and maybe it dosen't exist here in Canada)

oh. and BTW are you married?? cause the dye in the crock-pot...LOL
