The Official Kaotik Pickset Thread

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

...I live in Jamaica Plain. I know this isn't the place for this message, but I just noticed...

Also - he has sold in the past, but I believe he recently mentioned that he hasn't been making many tools lately. I'm sure he'll provide a better answer, though.

02130 represent. too bad he doesn't make them anymore. They make me wish I had thought of this when I was at North Bennet Street School they have an awesome jewlery making program. Do you do the TOOOL Boston meetings?

Yeah - really need to get another one together. Just got some RKS locks for us all to play around with, too. Eric343 on here also comes out when he can.

I get flyers for North Bennet once in a while. I've thought of taking a class or two, but I'm trying to take more stuff oriented toward my career, so don't really have the spare time or cash to devote to it. Looks like good programs, though.

You ever hit the Milky Way? I'm down there most Monday nights, though I'm not sure about this next one.

Those handles are phenomenal. I was just curious if you craft them by hand or if you cut them out using a CNC?

Yes, it is functional but not exactly practical.

I do but not at this time still. Do to working and time constraints with my schedule it is difficult to make them in an orderly time frame. I am even finding it difficult to make a pick for the competition but am giving it my best.

I am affraid not. The flame Set is not available for sale.

All by hand, with the exception of a Dremel tool.

Brushed aluminum and steel...

Freeking beautiful!

The only thing you need to improve on is your photography! Try taking a picture of them on a mate black background ( Velvet or suede works well ).

That being said. Wow!

Have you considered adding in some precious metal(s)?

lol beat me to it Mutzy!

I'd still love to see a gold gilded pick. It would make a awesome prize for a picking contest... Hmmm...

too bad, but I know how easily craftwork can be forced aside by other of life's demands. This pick for "the competition"; is it a prize, or to be used in the competition?
