Ciao e tutti.

Pretty much for as long as i can remember I've wanted to learn to pick locks. Only recently though did i finally decide to get a small set and start learning. I've got a No. 3 master lock that i have been practicing on for the last couple of days. I plan on buying some more locks this weekend to keep practicing. So yah, Hey Hi How are ya?

Heya, no point really posting when there are 300 odd pages!
Ah well, I got my picks the other day (£30 from DevonLocks) and am starting to learn.
So far have managed to pick a 3 pin lock :D which I'm quite happy about.
I'm working my way up on a house lock I bought, adding pins as I progress.
Anyway, just wanted to say 'hey'!

new person introduction

Postby boxnam » 18 Jul 2008 10:56

I just found out about this site from a news article. I am not a lock picker, but it seems interesting to me. Particularly since I have medico locks on my house and I paid the extra b/c I was told they were un-pick-able, even by a lock smith.

Introduction

Postby kevendenen » 18 Jul 2008 15:03

Hello there. I bought a set of picks back in my high school years when a friend and I thought we'd learn (probably 1997). I've had them sitting around since then and never really learned to use them and I'm heading to Defcon for other things in August and saw they had some lock picking events, so I figured I'd learn to use them now.

Better late than never, right?

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum but I've been in the locksmith business since 1985. I stumbled into this forum through DIGG and I just wanted to say Hi and I'm glad to see people taking interest in locksmithing as a hobby.

I hope to meet new friendly here.

Thanks
