SouthOrd or El~Cheapo Tubular

Postby Archive555 » 15 Jul 2008 4:47

I'm interested in buying a tubular lockpick at the moment, 7 pin.

I stumbled upon This

It includes a 7 pin pick, plus a tubular book.
I can buy the book by itself, but it's $10, and here it's only $5 more than the 7 pin pick by itself.

However, in the picture it appears to not be a southord pick, however this is how they show the tubular picks in the 'combo' packs. So my question is this: is it a cheaper tubular pick in the combos and with the book, or is it just the picture?

I'd really love it if someone could help me out.

Thanks!

The pictures in the link with the book are not of SO tubular picks, however the price denotes they should be plus you get a deal on the book.

Looking at the part numbers might help. You have "TKEYS-TPXS-07" for the book (TKEYS) + the SO pick "TPXS-07"

Looking here we can see the 7 pin SO tubular pick listed alone as TPXS-07.

It looks to me like they got their pictures mixed up (maybe they didnt have a good one with pick and book together). Might be worth an email for clarity, or even for their sake as it is a confusing error but Im pretty sure that's what's happened.

Hope that helps

Agreed.
I'm sending an e-mail as we speak.
Or as you read what I've typed here.

Well, actually, I'll be starting to type the email after I've posted this.
Confusing?
