my first picks

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

hello, im new to lockpicking. i mean a complete noob. here are the pics that i made, sorry for the quality, but they look pretty bad nonetheless. now i can criticize myself all day, but i'd prefer to hear it from other people.

Turn the macro function on on your camera, it usually looks like a picture of a flower or a plant - its for taking close up pictures.

Other than that your picks look good to go for a first attempt. Im sure the next time around youll have even more success.

wow, i just realized i did'nt add any specifics. i found a bunch of templates on the internet, picked two, and worked a hacksaw blade into the shape that i saw, i didn't trace or anything of that sort, thats why im afraid that theyre terrible.

and people, dont be afraid to post, even if its just to say the picture looks terrible(ill try to get a better one up)

from what i can see from the pic the general shape looks right but you might wanna take some sandpaper to them.

i did, its just hard to sandpaper because of the wavy part, but for me the handle is clean enough. this is really just a practice set.

they look like they would make a really good everyday pocket set to me! keep up the great work mate!
if everyone who tried something new liked it but didnt bother telling anyone else there would never be anything new to try...
