im at work so i made a pick "set" from paper clips
one is little and thin for the pick and the othe a little harder and thicker fo the holding(idk its name)
i didnt have time but i did the first 2 pins out of a door lock in like 10 sec(well the first like 10 sec the second like 20(10+20=30)
but then i had to work again so i stoped...^^
welome me this evening when ill pick my one of house doors xD

hi mate it might not be wise to pick your house door as its a lock which you rely on to secure your house, apart from the fact you might surprise yourself how bad it is you could break something inside it then youl need a locky to come fix it for you, id recommend getting a couple of padlocks and a few cylinders to practice on. happy pickings bud!
if everyone who tried something new liked it but didnt bother telling anyone else there would never be anything new to try...

It is great advice from mr_chris79.When picking lock some damage can occur. The springs or pins can get fatigued or damaged. This can reduce to life of the lock and the last thing you want is to be locked out of your own house on a rainy or snowy day.

Buy some locks and if you damage it, throw it away and get some new ones. Ask your local locky or maintence guy for old locks. You'll be suprised at what gets thrown out.
Good luck and enjoy

Try making picks out of wipper inserts or saw blades they work perfect. Its a waste of time to try to pick locks with hair/ Saftey pins and you will learn a lot more with the proper tool in hand.

Or if you aren't the 'handy' or 'DIY' type, then Lockpickshop our sponsor has some great deals, and if you're within the US, the shipping is minimal.
