First pick has been received! Criminalhate's is the first to arrive. All will be photographed on the 31st and a detailed new thread will posted that day. (If all competitors get their tools in early we'll photograph / post on whatever day the final one comes in!)
Also - if anyone would like us to photograph it ahead of schedule so you can have a high res photo of your lockpick for thread purposes, just let us know. Also - ch, I know I blanked on shooting the pocket set you made me. Will have that done by the weekend!

don't get too cocky, freakparade - not unless you used macaroni and gold spray paint to decorate your handle too.

2 Received at this point, (criminalhate & cheesehead) everyone still has plenty of time, but if anyone thinks that I SHOULD have received yours by now and haven't, please let me know!

To anyone sending picks. At present I have received 2 picks and 3 envelopes. This should illustrate a couple of quick points:
1: You still have 2 weeks left before deadline, so still plenty of time to get your picks out to TOOOL Boston.
2: If you think I should have received your pick by now, but haven't heard from me, please get in contact quickly.
3: When packaging your pick to ship, please take extra precautions to make sure it can't accidentally poke through the envelope in transit. Whether this means wrapping a piece of cardboard around it, as one person did, or bubble wrapping the heck out of it, as another did, or taping it securely to the center of an index card, which has worked for other shipments - do something to protect your pick from poking free of the envelope.
