that tool is simply useless on normal padlock and cylinders. It ''might'' be useful on locks that requires more than 1 pick inside of the lock at the same time, so you would need your 2 hands to manipulate the picks, or on very high security lock that requires a lot of precision, but it is not a ''must have'' tool, it is more a gadget than something else.

You still need one hand for the circular tension tool, it just lets you "measure" how much torque you are applying.
