Ottawa Ontario Groups?

Im not at all familiar with IRC ,do you have msn?my msn is vanasse_145@hotmail.com.Doesnt seem like theres all that much interest in Ottawa.I started a facebook group called lock picking Canada,so im hoping that will gain some interest and maybe from there i can get some Ottawa based enthusiasts.

Another vote for Ottawa!!

I've been into locksports for a while. I've taught a few people to pick, make tools etc.

I have a unholy collection of locks and tools, I think the next logical step for me would be to help start up a local group.

I have enough picks and locks, street sweeper blades, pick blanks...etc to get a group of 3-5 off and running.

I know at least 4 people who range from unexperienced to novice that would probably be interested.

Lets start simple, Pm me if anyone wants to set up a time to swap/borrow/buy locks or just swap stories etc.

Ps, sorry for hijacking this thread. I didn't want to start a new one for Ottawa.

I definitely think we should get an Ottawa group together. Now we could wait for the perfect time, or we could start this week. If anyone is up for meeting this weekend, let's make it happen.

I am quite inexperienced, but my contribution can be getting a group together, so if you are interested, please contact me. Two interested people will learn faster than one on their own.

At the very least a locations need to be found where most people will be able to get to, rules need to be set down on paper so everyone understands the basics. I have a lot of locks and some tools. I'm still searching for some more advanced pickers to help me out with you noobs

Also. This is Ottawa. Land of the law-enforcement, and politics. Things are going to have to be run very cleanly.

The general public is still very confused when it comes to lock sports. This is Ottawa remember. The Law enforcement here freak out about GeoCaching and the media plays along throwing wood on the fire.

Any comments from any locals are always welcome, on this thread or via PM.
