500+ tension wrenches

Postby steve0527 » 11 Aug 2008 2:16

I had nothing to do at work on friday so I made a few tension wrenches. There are over 500 made and around 1000 that still need bending. I still have around 200 more wipper inserts to cut up but I'm not sure what to do with them. I used two machines to make them a electric shear and a electric bender they only took about 1 hour to make. If any body wants some let me no just pay for shipping and a little for my time. The sizes range from 3mm to 7mm wide around .5mm thick and from 8cm to 12cm long. Theres a lot a different sizes I'm not sure how many. I use the 7mm wide inserts to make picks from so there are no tension wrenches in the picture at that size but I can make them. I have another bag but cant find it there are around 200 in it they are all twist flex which I do all by hand.

Sweet!
When I get some money, I'll be lookin for some cheap-bulk wrenches.
I'll probably get a few of each of the sizes, so I can see waht I prefer the most.

Awesome collection. You must have been so bored to want to make that many...

Wow, very nice collection there. One more thing to add to my list of "stuff to look for while at the junkyard."

Impressive.

If you've done any standard twists, I would happily buy a fistful off of you. I imagine those would take more time than a simple bend, though, so if you would like to charge more than shipping, that's fine.

Let me know.

I have a bag full of them, the twist I do by hand but the rest is done by machines. I will sell you 25 for $5 plus shipping I will also sell you more if you want more.

I just got over the 150 sold mark in 2 days if this keeps up I might need to go to the scrap yard. I am asking $5 for 25 tension wrenchs plus shipping if you buy more I might do a deal. I think thats a good deal. I can also dip them in black plasic dip for a bit more $, it gives you a nice grip.
