Most knob sets can be dissasembled by turning the plug to the unlock postion with either a key or by picking it and then depressing a retainer on the spindle portion, neck (or whatever its called) of the knob. Once depressed you can just pull and slide the knob off.
From this point some knobs will differ but you normally have to use a bent scribe or ice pick tool to pry and pull off a ring on the backside of the knob to remove the lock cylinder.
