The best pick case?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

What's the build quality like with these ones? What size do they roll up when full?

I'm liking the look of the Elite one, but can't decide.

You would think that the current trend with duct tape (duct tape wallets, even duct tape prom dresses) that somebody would have made a duct tape pick case by now. This will be my next project. Its cheap, nerdy, and can be tailored to fit any pick set

That's a great suggestion. As good it was when I made it 10 weeks ago when I made it, and just as good when someone beat me to it by a few more weeks than that.

It's my pick limbo. Where all the tools that are too specialized to be carried in my everyday case, but to large to carry in a tiny case end up. It's probably the third most used case. It's also available in black. I hear gaffers tape works better because it doesn't leave the sticky junk all over your tools, but I cap the ends in electrical tape to help stop it and also do THIS
Little plastic tubes help to keep them from scratching each other, and in the back of some is a calling card between the layers of tape to add stiffness to the case.

They work good enough and are easy enough to make. Have at it!

I was going through some boxes of mine and found one of these

It's used to keep a cigar fresh. Mine was a little bent up, it's made of decent Aluminum (im guessing), but in pretty good shape. The picks that I just purchased fit perfectly inside, even the tension wrench which kind of surprised me. For a beginner set (5-10 picks) this is a pretty nifty case. And as a bonus, the cigar was still in it lol

I used to use one of those. Good way to disguise the picks too
