Hey guys, i just got my pick set in a few days ago and have been stocking up on lock. (i've spent at least $50 on locks in the last 2 days

). But i'm having some trouble. I removed the pins from two of the locks. I start out with only 2 pins but this was way too easy so i stepped it up to three. As of now, one cylinder has 3 pins and another has 4 pins. Here is the method I'm using. Using a short hook, i position the pick behind ALL of the pins in the the cylinder. I slowly move it forward until I know its on the first pin (the farthest one from the keyhole). I slowly lift this pin until i feel (or think i feel) a click, then move to the next pin, then the next repeating the process. This works great for the cylinder with 3 pins but i'm having trouble with 4 pins. I'm using relatively light tension. Can someone point out errors in my method? or give me a little help on making the jump from 3 to 4. Ive already read the beginners lockpicking exercise more than once

, help is much appreciated
