Dude... seriously?

I'm sorry but I think that must be the funniest thing I've read all day.

Try dish washing liquid to make it slippy enough to get out, or plain old saliva.

If it starts turning blue call the fire service and they'll probably dremel it off for you.

Take some pictures!

Should be worth a laugh but you never know, someone may be able to help better if we can see the kind of situation you've got yourself in.

Depending on the type of lock, with pressure on the shackle you may be able to feel when the gates set, with your finger in there it may be easier anyway.

Perhaps this post might help?

Else you could probably get away with making it a fashion accessory until such time you can get it open. If youre right handed writing may be tricky but not impossible.

Lubricant and pray. I realize it must be difficult to type with one hand and the other one locked up, but without knowing what the lock is it is difficult to get help. I would like to tell you to dremel it off, but I am against turning right handed people loose with power tools on their bodies left handed. Especially someone who was talented enough to lock himself up in the first place.

I know it isn't funny because you are in some pain, but actually it is hilarious. Give us the name of the lock at least. Someone here knows how to get it off.

Just so you don't feel so dumb in the meantime I have a short story for you. I had a "friend" who thought he was really cool and let his friends have cable and a masterlock no1 to bind and lock his hands behind his back. Not the greatest of ideas, but just in case my "buddy" had a key for his lock in a nearby desk drawer. A perfect plan except for the all serrated, 6 pin, 3 lb, nightmare keyway kryptonite practice lock he had no operating key for was within visual range of the peanut gallery shackle open. Not a fellow lock picker in sight, hands very tightly bound behind his back, someone says "get the big one!" and by the time he realizes what is about to happen it is too late. The once beloved snap of the locking shackle is now replaced by the thunderclap of the double locking ball bearings falling into place. He should have seen it coming.

Be very careful to not lock ANYTHING on your body on purpose for fun. Eventually it will go terrible wrong and you'll either have to prove your steel as a picker, call a locksmith, call the firedepartment, or try not to cut off your finger using a dremel left handed.

I missed a couple posts. I still think your best bet is to slide it off with some dish soap, or something stronger. Keep your hand level with your heart or even on your head for a minute or so to help drain blood away from it, then give it another shot. I have even heard of people sticking their hands in ice water to get off wedding rings that haven't come off for over a decade, but don't get carried away and leave you hand in ice water for 10 minutes!

You can try soaking your hand in hot water to expand the metal, then use some dish soap to slip it off your finger.

I remember I got a cable puller stuck on my finger messing around, it took two other people to get the thing off.
