72-76 Bonneville Ignition

Postby bcameron » 27 Aug 2008 10:12

I've got the new ignition housing/cylinder in my hands now and need to rekey it but for the life of me I can't figure out how to remove the cylinder from the housing. I removed the pressed on cam from the back and found that the two detent pins around the cylinder face can be pushed in and thus releasing the cylinder approximately a 1/2 an inch. But that's it. It won't come out any further. Any help?

Please go back and read the rules of the site. I have already PM'd you once today and it would save us both alot of time if you read the rule thread. We do not allow auto discussion in the open forums.
