Maison Key with Weiser

Can you please tell me the procedure for pinning a maison lock with the Weiser lock. I am confused with the differences being 15 and 20 thousandths . I have done several with schlage but not with weiser.

Are you setting up an apartment entrance? There is no difference in the method used except you will use weiser pins and depths instead of schlage. What is it you are having problems with?

I have created dozens of masterkey systems involving hundreds of locks and I CRINGE when I hear maison keying. I know it is done, but it is MUCH more secure to use a seperate key for the main entrance, preferably a keyway different than the apartment locks. The problem with maison keying is the more keys you have working the main entrance, the weaker the security is.
