When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

I realize that the application and techniques used to pick Abloy-like disk locks is advanced material, however, I'm hoping that this question is acceptable:
Is the ukbumpkeys.com "Disc Detainer Padlock Pick" worth the money? I realize that they are front tensioning only, and don't work on many of the higher security locks, but I'm only interested in opening a few cheep locks I bought from eBay.

It is a decent tool and ukbumpkeys can be replied upon to deliver, there are quite a few videos on youtube with people using it, however as you say this is advanced material and further discussion is probably going to be discouraged.
For, what is it, £30? I dont think you can go wrong really.

The one I bought from them was absolutely useless, incredibly bad quality workmanship.
Let me know if you are satisfied with the one you receive.
Cheers,
