SITE'S NEW LOOK

I like the new look of the site. The small changes are refreshing. I have been busy with another section on this site for a while and when I returned I noticed the changes and I must say I like it.

Keep it up. :D

I'd like to know if there's still a way to view all new posts since you last logged in on a single page. I can't remember what the link used to be called, but it isn't there anymore. It's a bit more of a hassle having to open each forum individually.

too many clicks for one simple thing. To recieve messages, if your inbox is full, the site tells you its got the messages but is holding out and you will have to delete a previous message.
Delete message used to be a simple button on the top and bottom of the page, check the message and hit this button, no problem.

On this new one, after sorting through 5 pull down menus with misleading titles, on the bottom only of the last page, You find that menu that contains the delete option, no indication in the menu title will tell you its there, you have to look through all the menus.
Click delete
then you have to click a 'go' button,
after clicking the go button, it will take some time and then throw you a page that asks if you really really want to delete a message. Click yes. to indicate that you really meant it when you clicked both delete and go.
It will then give you a screen that tells you that you succeeded in deleteing the message, and then you will see a the page that tells you that the site is holding out the message you want to read, and you click again to get them.
Whoever designed this, is an idiot. the server is holding your messages, its not saving them any harddrive space, its just annoying you by making you look through a bunch of menus to find what was once straightforward, then You click delete, then go, then yes I really meant it when I clicked delete and when I clicked go. After that, its only two more clicks to get the messages.
BRilliant!
Fat ladies stand in doorways to talk to their friends, while other people want to come in or go out. This is the ploy they use to get attention, you gotta ask their permission and cooperation to use the door. The geek who designed this interface shoulda been a fat lady, He really craves attention.

Rai: I'll see if I can incorporate a quick mail delete into my "make phpBB3 more user friendly on lp101" script...

Most of the threads in this section seem quite out of place

pick fu , got questions, and chatter are the only parts of the index that appear in the blue box above the ads. the rest are a scroll down beneath the adds, so they may not be getting as many posts as the are beneath the page. There is still an index page, Ive seen it but its not obvious how you get there, It used to be the first page.

I think this had already been mentioned, but i noticed that when i quote someone it doesn't quote properly, instead of being in the "quote" box the text just has [qoute] instead.
