Misdemeanor and Locksmithing.

I'm looking into an apprenticeship with a locksmith in the area, but before I get my hopes up I need to find out.

I have a minor misdemeanor in another state labeled as "Access without Authorization."

What are the chances of me being unable to obtain a licence in california because of this mark on my record back when I was 18?

google didn't seem to help me out too much.

Would you want somebody having knowledge of your keys/locks with a record like that?

you may want to talk to an attorney and see if there is some way to have the charge(s) expunged
