ooh, I get it. It's just additional physical security for the cylinder. Nothing special about the lock it's self, besides the need for longer keys to get past the keyhole drill protection.
Does anybody know if they make Keymark compatible drill guards/ extralong keymark keys?
How much more difficult would the added distance make picking a full 7pin cylinder, in terms of the reach of conventional picks. I mention this specifically after seeing the new profile cylinders that have a key that goes all the way through.
