Help - How to open a Master Lock combination lock?

I have a Master Lock combination lock with a keyhole from behind. There it is - the Master Lock #1525 Padlock:

I have 2 combo locks and I forgot a combo to both. There's one way that worked only for one (I found a combo). I tried it on the second one twice, but it didn't work. Here's the way:

So I need another way to find a conbination to this lock. Please, help me. Thanks.

Master Lock combination locks can be shimmed open quite easily. Once that's done, you can look through the shackle hole of the opened lock to read the gate positions from the wheels and determine the combination: there was a thread on here recently (within the last month or so) that nicely described the procedure for that.

It didn't work with my lock. I still can open it only with a shim. I still can't get the combo! What can I do? Throw the lock away?

So what can I do? Just brutforse all 4000 possible combos? It's a lot of time!

Ok, the serial number of my lock is 492321. If you can get the combo to this nubmer, please, tell me, how did you do that.

MacGyver101 already gave you the best answer to your problem. You said you had the one you found the combination for right? Get a light and look into the lock you have the combination for, just dial the combo numbers, look at where the wheel notches line up and use that as a reference point for where they should line up in the unknown lock you can shim open. Position the first wheel, write down the number. Line up the second one, write down the number etc. The serial number isn't going to be any help in getting you the combo.
