I might be interested in this, if a group buy was done at $10 per lock it should only cost a couple of dollars to send them around US/ Canada, and a little extra for those in the UK, so should be under $15US delivered.

Hi, if this is the price I'm interested to receive one :) Let me know...

If anyone is planning on ordering one anytime soon, send me a PM. I'd like to get one or two, but I don't have an ebay account.

After thinking about it a bit more, $15US isn't that much so if a group buy was organized and the locks worked out to be around this much you acn count me it, so anyone want to organize one :)

Patience will pay off. The seller seems to be getting impatient and now offering an auction on some of the cylinders with a starting bid of $13.99 + $5.45 for shipping.

Dumb question, but I'm guessing there are no dealers in the United States? I wanted to key alike two of them.

When you guys order, be sure to have the card wrapped separately. It will keep it from getting cracked/snapped.

The seller was more than happy to accommodate my request.

Silly question: how do you withdraw the plug from the cylinder? I finally got around to taking this apart and I can't seem to get the plug out. Took off the cam and the c-clip, key rotates the plug but doesn't let the plug come out.

Strangely you need to have the key withdrawn from the cylinder to get the plug out, unlike most locks which require the opposite. I think this has to do with the position of the passive bar at the 12 o clock position which seems to get bound up on the housing when it drops down. Can anyone confirm?

I don't blame you! At that sort of price, I suspect you're not the only one on here who has fitted one to their door.

You have to have the key out of the cylinder, the c-clip off and you have to push rather hard to get it to come out.

Hold the cylinder sideways (keyway horizontal) with the key inserted. Slowly and carefully withdraw the key without "tipping" it and making sure to press on the plugface to keep the plug in. Once the key is out, press/pull the plug (no follower needed). On the way out, be careful not the tip the plug and spill the wafers all over the place. Also try to get your grubby fingers on those sidebars/profile bars so they don't fall out and bounce somewhere inconvenient. It's helpful to use a hook pick to push the wafers out; when you put them back in, make sure they're not flipped around.

This reminds me of the tip to do this operation using a large zip-lock plastic bag so if things do blow up and parts fly, at least they're all in the bag that you are holding the lock in.
