While I was shortening standard SO lock picks to fit inside a ball point pen housing, I altered a standard L shaped tension wrench to fit. First shorten the short portion to fit inside barrel, then bend very short L into opposite end for top of keyway use. In the middle of the shank put a small 45 degree bend followed by another opposite 45 degree bend. This allows use with tulip style knobs as well as a place to put outward pressure to hold short end of wrench in place when picking hand held padlocks. Really works well on Schlage C keyways in tulip knobs.
