Can anyone give me some good lockpicking tips on build a lockpicking kit and can you also give pictures on how its done.

search for which type of picks u want, then search for some cheap locks to start picking. there ya go

hook, half diamond, rake, a few tension wrenches and a kwikset double deadbolt and ur set

There is just so much information here. As for picks, you could start with a cheap set for around $20. That would get you going with minimum hassles. Or if you have a few tools, like a grinder and some files, you can make almost everything you need and save some money. Again all sorts of stickies about choosing and making lock picks of all sorts. Then you will want to know what locks to practice on. Cheaper is better when you start out. Look for something at a yard sale or discount store. Again $20 should do.

welcome to the club man! I would suggest you to buy a Mpxs-14 pieces set and some master locks. The kit is very good (I have it ) It has 4 tension wrenches, one key extractor. It has also, a big hook, a small hook, small diamond, big diamond, L rake, C rake, single ball, double ball etc...

read all the stickies thoroughly and completely. once you ge the idea start with 3-4 different picks then decide for yourself what suits you better. When first starting out it helps to develop your own feel of things

Sand your picks, use the heavy grit first, then move to the finer grit. Use sandpaper made for metal.
make the edges of the pickshaft round rather than sharp90 degree edges, and the top of the pickshaft should be sanded smooth, so you can drag your thumbnail along it and feel nothing.

the rounding of the edges makes the warding in the keyway much less difficult to avoid, and the sanding of the top edge of the pickshaft reduces the damage to the pins, and the false feedback
