Lock ID help request

Hello. I recently acquired a Treadlok Security Chest (aka gun safe) from the 1970's. It has a cylindrical cam lock with a tubular key. The key is my issue - there is only one, and I am uncomfortable with that situation. I contacted the manufacturer, who told me that the lock on my chest is not the original unit (which apparently was a Medeco item). They suggested that I remove the lock and take it to a smith. Before I do that, I thought it might be worthwhile to try to identify the manufacturer of my lock to see if they still exist and can furnish additional keys (my key is numbered). I've attached pics of the chest with the door open (lest someone here suspect that I'm trying to expedite a heist), the key (showing some kind of brand id and the code), and the lock (can't see much, but to my eye there isn't much to see). Any help rendered will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It just a Jet generic tubular key, bring it to any locksmith and ask them to make you a copy.

No need to bring the lock with you, but if you can remove it easily, that's always a bonus so they can try the new key out and make sure it works smoothly.

Aha! "Jet" - the "J" was stylized to the point that I didn't recognize it - my eye wanted the logo to spell "Tet". Googling that produces little beyond references to campaigns in Asian wars... Thank you very much.

That looks like a good box to keep the kids out of the shotguns, but the typical cabinetry dissappearing hinges do not give much confidence in re a five minute destructive attack.

And with that lock installed it takes what? 10 seconds with a pick tool.

I would invest 20 EUR for a new lock that is more secure. Abloy, Medeco, you name it.
