Interchangeable Pick Handle

Decided to make an "interchangable" handle for my latest set of picks.

Very cool. The metal band is a good idea towards extending the life of an interchangeable wooden handle. It's pretty sharp looking already. You'll have to post it again if you decide to finish it. Good wood working.

How firmly does it hold the picks, or how does the nub hold the pick temporarily in the handle change after change?

There is absolutely no play with an inserted pick,very tight,also thanks to the metal band.
When the pick is inserted in the handle it is pushed over the nub ,which is raised, when the hole in the end of the pick "handle" is lined up with the nub,it is popped into place with the nub in the hole.
