DODGE IS LEGALLY RESPOSIBLE TO RELEASE THE KEY CUTS AND THe pin number to the owner.

I have not cut any 2005 dodge and was not aware that they went lazer cut

anyway a sidewinder will dup the physical key and you can program them with an sdd machine.

dodge is very easy actually.

sidewinders will also dup dimple keys.

however you gotta have the depth and spacing keys if you are going to originate a keys with a sidewinder and thats what sucks about the new honda , dodge ( i guess?) vovlvo bmw etc.

Naw, the good machines like the Ilco are computer controlled, and have all that stuff in their database.

You can do it manually if you are making a new key because of lost keys, you just have to punch the codes into the control program. Either on the machine, or into the computer. Depends on your setup.

The SDD is a great device, and there are a few others that are good as well, but the SDD is probably your overall best bet for transponder coding.

I expect honesty, and integrity from anyone who asks you to shell out 1/3 the cost of a small house.

I expect that an owner should be able to obtain any and all information concerning his vehicle.

I expect that if I were treated that way, not only would the regional office have a phone call, but I would be finding a better dealership.

I expect to be told the truth, and not some mumbo jumbo that sounds like something an ignorant twit would spout out. Especially when it's expected that you have half a brain in order to do your job.

Maybe all they see is the computer get the information from the DC database and they insert a blank, and the machine does the rest, but I bloody well expect that if Chilton, Motor and Haynes can explain it in a $30.00 manual, that the guy doing it should know what's going on AND be honest with me.

That's what I expect. Maybe I just expect too much.
