Plastic picks?

polyutheraan would do it. It's a very strudy kind of plastic which will not easily break. It will flex a little but probably not much more than springsteel. I guess a pickset made of those would be great since a metal detector wouldn't pick up on them and you could take you pickset on an airplane without being a murderous criminal XD

heres my 2 cents, how about the material from a mother board? It may be too brittle, but it may do the trick. somone would just need a few old comps laying around.
though if you were to try to carry these onto a plane or other areas , i don;t think "plastic" can be used as a tesnioning device, hair pins? maybe?. any thought?

Just use a pen clip, completely harmless and inconspicuous
