Homemade Security Pins

does anybody know where to buy security pins for common locks like
kwickset or schlage?

probably not from kwikset.

Kwikset now does include spool pins in their pinsets. Apparently you are "only" supposed to put them in 2 and 4.

do you think that i could order them from my local locksmith?there shouldnt be any "sanctions" on them , are they?

chuckles i looked at the kwickset web site and couldnt find any mention
and then did more looking with no results.im sure they are sold in refill packs of 100 like every thing else in my keying kit but cant find them from my "distributor" any ideas?

you can contact www.clksupplies.com and ask for them as they are not listed on their site. I believe they are around 5.00 per 100.
