Homebrew jack knife pick

Since I got the DIY fever I decided to make a Jack knife pick set out of feeler gauges. The image aren't the best quality but my camera just wouldn't work with me.

As you can see there's still one "blank" pick, I'm not sure what I should make out of it (been thinking snake rake) so suggestions are welcome!









It's my second DIY project ever so I am pleased with the result, picks work well! Tention wrench is included in the body of the jack knife

That looks pretty good. If it was mine I would make a second hook pick with a slightly different hook on it.

Then if I planned on using it a lot I would get some sandpaper and smooth it all up so it is nice and shiny. But mainly just to take out the few burn marks that are left behind.

Yea I am planning on adding another hook made out of a hacksaw blade. It's better material to make the hooks out than the feeler gauges

But aren't those picks to short to access the back of a lock?
I would say they need to be longer

I thought exactly that, but it's rather ok, didn't run into problems jet...
