GMS mortise cylinder, 3 spools. Wishes it was a sargent of some kind. Took the opportunity to modify one of my wrenches to put a small bend in the other end to make it easier to apply top tension.

Yesterday evening, while the forum was down, I played with my medeco 32S fully pinned (6 pins and the sidebar).
Image

The wrench is an inox bicycle spoke, specifically designed for this keyway.
To design this spoke-wrenches I was inspired by raimundo while talking about an american lock 5200. Also tballard likes this wrenches... and he's not the only one!

The pick is a simple small diamond, with my favourite handles.

I don't have a medecoder jet, and I don't know if I'm going to build one. It's very interesting and satisfying to feel the sidebar and consequently rotate the pins to set them!

Cheers :)

Finally! An American 5200 with no key. Someone cut the lock off originally, and it took me about an hour to figure out the binding order. Turn it too far and it binds pins 4 and 5... SPP'd, too. This thing wouldn't respond to raking...

Great job!!

I finally got the Yale P300 on video today, it is by far the most difficult regular pin tumbler lock that I've picked so far.
It has 6 pins, 5 of those are spools of various height and 1 regular driver pin (pin 2).
The binding order is: 2,3,5,1,4,6 and there's very little tolerance in the lock.
Especially with the 6th pin, only opening up a micrometer to far to set the last one will result in pins popping back into place...
But I've got it :)
