i get annoyed at pins some times..the spring force is keeping th pins down or may be they are just geting stuck..either way, raking with a half diamond usually fixes it for me

Are you able to reach the fourth and fifth pins? Sometimes if the hook is too tall, you can run into the sides of the pins that are way back... You might need a shorter outline of the pick. I don't know if that's your problem, but I had that problem a long time ago using the SouthOrd 14 pin basic tall hook...

i think i should make a couple more diamonds, the cleaner bristle isn't strong enough to fit my needs.. i'm gonna make some more rakes too.

as rakes, they work pretty well, but i haven't been able to use them the way the designer of the picks did.

wow... im honored!!

im thinking about making a falle safe deep curve hook.. anybody here got experience with them? and if i make one, which should it be, from 1 to 6?

i also tried to make twist flex tension wrenches, from junior hacksaw blades, but that didn't work out, because the temper of the steel was ruined because i don't have a good torch.. maybe try making one from senior hacksaw blades cut offs

Just use wiper blade spines, they can withstand a ninety degree cold bend with two pairs of pliers. If you are looking for something a little wider, get an automatic transmission dipstick and taper it so that it will suit different keyways.

im going crazy, i can't open my 3 pin practice lock pin for pin, because none of my picks are made (or i use them wrong) to reach over the first two pins (that have set) and press the third one down all the way. it is totally freaking me out, i know i have to be patient, but i cant solve this by practicing, because my tool just seems to be in appropriate, when i try to push down the third pin I push the second one alone with it, causing it to overset.. does anybody have any tips, or pick designs to overcome this?
